Since 1961, Gregory Antippa has taken great pleasure in assisting his clients to grow.

Peter Antippa took over the business in 2000 to allow his Father to consider broader areas in the business. They have enjoyed seeing some clients begin as migrants, work hard in their businesses and now enjoy the luxury of living from the earnings of commercial property investments.

Founder

Gregory Antippa was admitted to practice law in 1961. He was the 5th Greek lawyer to be admitted to practice law in Victoria. Gregory Antippa passed away in 2025 at the age of 93.

Gregory Antippa has degrees in both Law and Arts from Melbourne University and a diploma in American law from Chicago. He has over 60 years of experience, mainly in Commercial areas of law. These include advising shop traders, shopping centres, leases, buying / selling all types of businesses, obtaining various licences and permits to operate businesses and arranging finance.

Peter Antippa was born in 1965 in Melbourne and has been practising law since 1993.
Peter has 30 years of experience in private legal practice and he has been managing ANTIPPA LAWYERS in Collins Street, Melbourne for over 20 years.
It is not only his wealth of knowledge about property law. family law and commercial law, which is important, but it is his advice which results in astute commercial decisions.
Peter has leveraged on his background of qualifications in Economics, Accounting and Immigration for the benefit of high net worth individuals and medium to larger corporate entities.
Particularly in litigation, his signature strengths are being a tough fighter, being decisive, collaborative, calm under pressure and an excellent negotiator.
These skills are applied in the ambit of commerce including business acquisitions, property acquisitions, deceased estate disputes and family law corporate property disputes.

Marina completed her final year of law school in 2025 and is eagerly began her legal career as part of the Antippa Lawyers legal team earlier this year. Marina has come into our Family Law area with passion to get what is right for our client.

She is a highly motivated and driven individual who welcomes the fast paced environment of a law office.

Marina is fluent in both English and Greek, having lived in Greece most of her childhood.

We look forward to having Marina as part of our Dynamic Family law team.

Maria V. Papageorgiou

Maria Papageorgiou was born in the city of Thessaloniki in Greece. She graduated from the Law School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 1999, while soon afterwards she took on to postgraduate studies at the University of Sheffield ( U.K.) in the field of translation and Linguistics.

She is an enthusiastic and dedicated professional who enjoys being part of a successful and productive team. A confident and articulate communicator, with a proven background in achieving targets, and able to work in a multi-national environment. A consistently high performer with positive influence even in the most pressurised situations, who enjoys working on challenging projects.

Maria is a member of the Lawyers’ Bar Association of Chalkidiki in Greece (reg.number 152).and a professional translator in English, French and German
She first started her Legal and Translation office based in Chalkidiki in 2004 where she had the chance of working with local and international clientele specializing in real estate contract, investment and company law. As an outcome of her professional experience, she has developed an efficient network of onsite professionals (lawyers, notaries accountants and real estate agents) both in Greece and abroad with whom she is actively cooperating undertaking legal cases that are related to international jurisdiction.

She is also representing clients who live abroad as their proxy by the power of attorney, in order to coordinate, supervise and finalize the process of undersigning their deeds in Greece.

Portia has joined our team with a passion for property. She has commenced her studies in Property and Real Estate and has joined our Conveyancing team where she will enhance what she has learnt in her studies with the practical side of property transactions.

Portia is a bright and enthusiastic member of our team and we look forward to a new generation of Antippa's joining the firm.

Alyssa came to us in Year 10 as a work experience student. We were so impressed with her that we offerred her to join our team as a filing clerk. Since completing VCE and commencing University studies, she continues to work with us on a Part-time basis as a Legal Administrator as part of our Estates team.

Alyssa is enthusiastic, polite and reliable and brings a great energy to the team.

Alexia joined the firm in 2001. With over 20 years of experience working at Antippa Lawyers,

Alexia has brought her knowledge to our firm to ensure the timely and successful delivery of funds to our clients, keeping track of all payments and expenditures and managing trust funds.

In recent times, Alexia has taken on the role of Probate and Wills management to ensure these processes are done in a timely manner.

Alexia speaks fluent Greek.
